I have recently moved to the desert of New Mexico near roswell and have identified tarantulas--but wish to know what kind of spider has an elongated black abdomen and red head and legs (about half the size of a tarantula, and no, it is not a child of the earth (AKA Jerusalem cricket or potato bug)
