That's true but in case you want a more accurate temperature range, the optimal temperature range for all pet rodents is between 65°to 80°F with a relative humidity of 40 to 70%.

In my opinion, no wild animal should be kept as a pet, excepting zoos. But there are stupid people out there who do.

OK let me get this straight. Rats are animals. All forms of life are equal. People just think they are "gross" because they seek shelter in their homes and sometimes have diseases. Pet rats can quite wonderful. You can find a pet rat at a pet shop for about 5$ to 30$. Tip: Do not try to keep wild rats as pets for various reasons.
