∙ 13y agoIt depends what scares the horse, and horses get scared VERY easily. A horse can do anything from a buck to a rear if its scared. When your near a horse, make sure the horse knows your there. To do this, greet the horse by the side of the head, so it can see you. Never go behind your horse, too.

I would suggest you not ride a horse if you are afraid of them. This is a choice to ride or not. I dislike roller coasters and will not go on one. I make that choice and so can you about horses. or, if you want to get over your fear, start riding lessons with an experianced instructor. let her know that you are scared of horses, and they will help you.
