well wildlife photography can b a lot of hard work if want to travel around the world with it but if you don't want to be all over the world you can go to your local zoo to practise because being in the wild you wont have fences in the picture so i would just go there for practise and in the wild yo can see the animal in it natural surroundings so go to the wild is the bet thing to do just be careful
The shortest zoom that would be really useful for wildlife photography is a 300 mm, but a good lens to start off with is a 75 to 300 mm zoom, or a 100 to 300 mm zoom. Probably, the best lens to go with would be a 400 mm f5.6 lens for wildlife photography, because more than likely, a 300 will be too short. You should also buy a good, sturdy tripod. Make sure it's not too heavy for you to carry around.
