The chicken because god put every animal in the garden of Edan. So its not like he would put an egg there!!
technically, the chicken should have come first because if you look at it from the bible's point of view- God created all the animals first, not eggs flying from the sky. he first created a chicken which layed an egg. But we are probably all wrong and something else happened- lol
In evolutionary terms, the egg came first. This is because reptiles, which laid eggs, existed long before birds. In terms of the chicken specifically, a genetic mutation occurred in a bird species that laid the egg which eventually hatched the first chicken.
5 quail eggs is the same as one chicken egg
long time ago, two organisms(not hen and cock) combined and one cell(egg) was formed. when the new organism came out, it was a new specie. then according to wittekar's evolution theory, i.e. like humans were first apes and then became a true humans the new specie also became a chick (present chick)since egg is of one cell it came first.hence, an egg came first than the chick.
one egg
I think the egg came first-not nessacerikly a chickens egg but an egg may have come first I think the chicken came first because, the chicken evolved from soemthing that wasnt a chicken and once it was a chicken it had an egg. but the egg the chickn came from had a chicken in... im confused This is one of those questions that has been debated for years. We may never know the answer...or perhaps we now do. In 2006 a geneticist, philosopher and chicken farmer say they have the answer. It was the egg. See link.
FACT: The egg did come first. & no one, or no thing laid the egg. God put it on this earth just like he put you and I on here.Answer:Evolution works in such a way that the traits leading up to "chicken -ness" can be present in both parents without them being (technically) chickens. When they mate the genes can recombine to provide the offspring (in the egg) with all the genes to be a chicken. So the parents are not technically chickens, the embryo is a chicken and grows to be a chicken. The chicken comes first. Yes this means the egg the first chicken comes from is not a chicken's egg. All eggs from the first chicken are then chicken's eggs.
a chicken layed one.
the egg came first because where are you going to get the chicken if their is no egg... you can't get a chicken out of thin air ...you need a egg to get the first chicken.... then that chicken lays a egg ...then that one does , then the next and so on...the earth's matter made up the first egg....kill the first chicken...you'll still have a egg to get another chicken...kill the first egg.... chickens would cease to ''egg-sist''(exsist).The egg came first from another animal that adapted into the chicken. Kind of like how humans came from monkeys.
the egg was Evolutionist concluded that the egg was first because dinarous layed them before Hens evolved. Creationist concluded that dinarous and hens came to live in the begining of the world and both were made before the egg.
The egg comes first. I know most of you think that without a chicken, there is no egg. But without an egg, there is no chicken as well right? And besides, God didn't make chicken just like that, so it may be possible that two different bird came about with a chicken egg. What do you guys think?
The modern chicken was believed to have descended from another closely related species of birds, the red junglefowl, but recently discovered genetic evidence suggests that the modern domestic chicken is a hybrid descendant of both the red junglefowl and the grey junglefowl. Since DNA can be modified only before birth, a mutation must have taken place at conception or within an egg such that an animal similar to a chicken, but not a chicken, laid the first chicken egg. --- But if the bird that laid that "first chicken egg" was "not a chicken," then how could the egg have been a chicken egg? See the related links below for more information and an in-depth article about this classic question from Answers.com. Evolution....I guess...
In evolutionary theory, there would have been a species that was almost, but not quite, a chicken. And this would then have had an offspring that was a true chicken. So in this scenario, the egg came first. In Genesis, or the creationist theory, God created all the animals of Earth to be for the use of mankind. They were all created and in place before the arrival of the first man. And so in that scenario, the chicken came first.
dude, i think the answer is pretty obvious. the chicken came first. i am a christian, and i think The Lord God would create a chicken, not an egg to become the first chicken. imagine an egg without a mother to raise it. so go rub it in your buddies' faces that you know the answer to the ancient chicken and egg riddle.
first don't you mean CHICKEN? and the egg did dino's where laying eggs -4 chickens where
It depends on who your are asking. Logically, an egg is born from a chicken. But if there is no chicken for the egg to be born from, then there would be no egg. But assuming we are talking about the first chicken in existence, then it would have been born most likely from an egg, but not from a chicken. It would be from an animal that would become a chicken through evolution, or a species that was evolving into the chicken. If that were the case, then the first chicken as we know chicken today would have started as an egg, from non-chicken parents.
(Answering this from non-religious POV) If you think about it, it would make sense that the egg came first. (All birds are hatched out of eggs) But then that rouses the question, "Well then what incubated the egg?" Then you have the side, "Well, obviously the chicken came first because it could incubate the egg and hatch more chickens" But where did THAT chicken come from? It's one of life's age old questions. As we all know, the chicken (nor the egg) didn't spontaneously generate. (That theory was disproven rather easily) But if I had to give you the easiest answer I would say the chicken. (But then again, it is possible another animal incubated the chicken egg by accident.. Then AGAIN (x3) where did THAT egg come from, hm?)
