Why are cats dumb?

Cats are some of the most intelligent creatures, although at some times they may seem to be outwitted by a rock. They're not dumb; they just have a different logic than ours. They learn differently and they aren't naturally familiar with human contraptions. Even things that seem obvious look different to a cat.

Cats in general arent necessarily dumb. Many can be trained to do tricks and other things. Although cats are smart, not all of them are that bright. For example, my cat thought that a stuffed animal was a mouse.

Cats are certainly NOT dumb! Really, 'many can be trained to do tricks'? Who would want to be trained to do tricks? Cats aren't supposed to be 'trained' to do anything. They do it all by intuition and instinct. And, I'm not picking on the answer above or anything, but if, for example a cat 'thought that a stuffed animal was a mouse' the cat is either very young or playing with you.
