There are no hunters and polution to harm them

are you kidding me? so why do bears live here and not there? do bears thrive in polution/hunter dense areas? #1 yes there are hunters in Africa #2 do circus elephants in America all die from respiratory problems due to all the polution? thanx for the 3rd grader liberal teacher indoctrination answer. heres a 6th grader answer: there WERE elephants here...mamoths. and there are many elephants in Asia. but due to the ever changing eco systems and conditions that are in the favor of the elephant beast they have found themselves in Africa more...and extinct in most other places. it just happens. there were no elephants here when Luis and clark ran all over, and there are none here now-not naturally. take men and polution away and it'd probly be the same.

Where do most elephants live within Africa?

Most of them live in groups, unless they are lost. They have occupied Africa and move a lot, so it's hard to determined "where they live". They can live in Semi-desert conditions, but like forests and savannas. Now, any live in Game reserves or Safari Parks in Africa, where the conditions are somewhat safer than "the big outdoors". They also live in zoos...if that's what you're looking for
