People hurt horses for a variety of reasons. Some people do not know how to properly handle a horse and cannot control them so they will get rough and begin to abuse the horse physically. Other times people expect the horse to work like a machine and when the horse protests they will beat it or force it to continue working when the horse should be resting. There are many other forms of abuse but the two listed are typically the most commonly seen.
As horrible as it is, people generally slaughter horses when they are too old or no longer useful to people, or if they can't afford to keep them and have trouble selling them on.
It's for many reasons but it's usually when they don't want the horse any more.
I live in a strange town and I've heard rumors about horses being killed for things like glue, or other strange purposes. Recently, a girl shot one my neighbor's horses and scattered its bones in a church nearby. One might point to ancient obsessions with seances or necromancy; then again, by the brutal and rather obvious way this thing was done, it was done by an idiot. I found its hoof and another unrecognizable bone in a rather obvious path while wandering today. It's strange the things you find when your'e not looking.
Anyway, I think it's sick. I don't understand why anyone would feel compelled to kill such a majestic creature unless, as stated above, it was used to abate an emergency.
for glue or to eat Yes, the French and other countries consider it a delicacy to eat, but personally I don't see how anyone could EVER EVER want to kill a beautiful animal like that.

No, all horses are trained to fall and alot of the scenes are done with special effects.
fonder is a tear in the cartilage of the horses knee
No. But snow can get packed on the bottoms of their hooves and although it is believed not to hurt, it seems to be uncomfortable.
do you mean 'float' your horses teeth? that is where someone files the horses teeth so that they are flat.. you see, horses teeth don't stop growing and they can get really sharp and hurt the horse when it has a bit in its mouth or is eating. if you want to get technical about it then you are supposed to float a horses teeth every 6 months but most people don't do it that often.. horses teeth don't grow that fast. : )
no you have to be bothering them to hurt you
Yes, in some parts of the world people hurt horses, like when they force two horses to fight till the death and bet on it. Some people may hurt them unintentionally eg making them jumping them on hard ground or riding with a saddle that doesn't fit.
Lots. Hundereds of people get hurt every day from falling off horses. Fortunately, most of hem survive. Only some unfortunate die. Hope this helps.

On average, around 100 people in the United States die from horse-related injuries each year. Horse falls are a common cause of these injuries, along with other accidents such as being kicked or trampled. It's important for riders to take precautions such as wearing helmets and proper safety equipment to reduce the risk of injury.
yes becuase the sattle can cutt in to them and it wars the horses out and the horses backs can go out
they rear and buck the other horses, so keep your distence when near horses fighting because you might get hurt. the back legs can hurt you but the front legs can kill you
Yes, they were they were used in most battles, sadly alot were hurt and killed along with the people.
Not any more than it does when people mate. They alwayslook pretty happy to me. I am curious as to the reason you asked.
horses seem to bring out the best in people because they are normally very gentle creatures. They teach people how to be calm and trusting and they love people and spending more time around hurt and abused horses makes people that are screwing around in life realize that their life isn't that bad and that some creatures have life a lot worse.
