Why is there red stuff coming from my gerbils eye that appears to be blood and I just got her a couple of months ago and she was only a baby then and her eyes are not wide open and shes not as active?

If its a clear substance it probably means your kitten's anal glands (essentially scent glands) are impacted. You will need to take your kitten to your vet so the glands can be expressed and unblocked.
Hot dry nose in cat?
If your cats nose is dry as well as hot and has been like this for a couple of days you should take it to the vet because it may be coming down with a cold, this is not dangerous but should be checked out in case it is another illness. :)

Well bud the same thing is happening to my hamster.... And sad to say... If you have had him for a couple of years... These my be his last hours... Make them pleasurable... But if not... He may just be sick... Take him to a vet and see what they say

I'm not sure why, but you can train your hamster to become not nocturnal. The best way is to put it in a room separate from an open area. Close the windows in the daytime and leave the lights on at night. If your hamster is young enough, after a couple of weeks your hamster will be trained.

When does gerbils sleep?
My guys are most active later at night, after 11 pm or so, but view have active times throughout the day and night. My two are about 8 weeks, and view tend to play/nest for maybe 2 hours, then 4 hours rest, then back to digging, feeding, drinking. Also they tend to appear for a couple of minutes during rest, I believe to sh1t outside of the nest area.
