No this will not deter them from eating anything. Beak trimming is done with many chickens and unless specified not to, it is done when orders are placed for birds from hatcheries. As long as they have half the normal length of beak they should do fine.
The reason it is done is it helps prevent feather pecking and cannibalism in small enclosures.
they have the ability to lay an egg every 23.5 hours. does not mean they will but they can
Chickens will naturally go home to roost about half an hour before dark. If you leave a light on in the coop they will wander in and settle down all by themselves. All you need to do is go in after dark and lock them down for the night. Time means nothing to the hens, its all about the ability to see and as dusk approaches they seek shelter.
I've been looking this up to understand my backyard raccoon's habits. It seems that anywhere from a couple of acres to 10 miles depending on the available food sources and ability to find a mate.
No - A chicken's tongue is too small to be able to lick anything. However, chickens do have tongues that they use to eat. They eat, taste, and communicate with it. Chickens can taste food despite having fewer taste buds than other animals. Their taste buds are mostly found in the oral cavity, with only a few on the surface of the tongue.
Chickens have a keen ability to perceive vibrations in the earth through their legs and skin, making it easier to sense predators; though they have poor night vision. Chickens have about 30 different sounds in their vocabulary, enabling them to communicate with fellow poultry, some of them warning signs. Roosters try to scare off predators using spurs, talons, beak, and wings, while female chickens may try to scare them off with beak and talons (females have no spurs) or simply run away.
Yes, it did. But like chickens of today, dodos lost the ability to fly.

They are not convergent. Bats are able to fly while chickens are losing that ability.

Chickens do not have eye brows as they do not possess the ability to grow hair (or fur). However depending on the chicken breed the amount of feathers around the eye varies.
The ability to keep a horse in your backyard is determined by local zoning laws. You should contact your local agricultural association for more information. Many places have laws forbidding the keeping of livestock in backyards.
That ability is not currently available from Netflix.

The Celtic society depended on its cattle, sheep and pigs. It is difficult to fine evidence of chicken bones in the archeological digs, but because of the chicken's food to product (meat or eggs or feathers) ratio, it's ability to keep down insect numbers, and it's ability to fend for itself in all but the extremes of weather, it is thought that there was certainly a place for chickens on the Celtic farm.
From a practical standpoint, probably nothing because most chickens won't drink soda. However, if you do get a carbonated beverage into a chicken, it may cause digestive trouble. Chickens may not be able to effectively eructate, or burp, to get the freed carbon dioxide gas out of their crop.
