The head shaking is the best indication that your dog has an ear infectin, this is especially common in dogs with floppy ears.
Take him to your vet, you will probably get some oticort drops that you will need to put in and massage into his ears twice daily.
You need to do it right away as his hearing can be permanantly affected if it goes too long.
