The guinea pig is either too fat or lazy, but if your guinea pig is too fat I'm afraid it might die :(
partial parylis.
Sometimes guinea pigs lose the use of their back legs. This is somewhat common and is not a sign of injury. If the guinea pig is dragging itself around, administer a dose of liquid calcium. This seems to solve the problem.
It is 4-30-09 and our little Bubbles was fine last night! Now tonight she is dragging her legs in a delay action and breathing hard-she is 2yrs old but she was perfectly great last night. She is still sweet and won't bite- I think I will call vet in a.m. if not to late!
Then the front legs come out right behind the eyes. After that their tails start to shrink.
They have long bodies with short legs so it can get uncomfortable for them to climb a ramp.
yes it can suffer from the same trauma as humans and a broken leg untended can infect and lead to a great deal of suffering for the poor thing
Take her to a vet immediately. There is something seriously wrong with her.
It means the leg is broke so you should take it to the doctor.....

He is obviously scared. When a dog holds a tail behind its legs then it is scared.
To stop it's stomach from dragging along the ground.
I'm no excactaly sure but it sounds bad.has she been eating somthing different or have a tragic event or gotten an injury latly?I suggest seeing a vet.Good luck!
Sounds like maybe it was a spinal cord injury since it's legs were dragging. He may have fallen, or been stepped on. But either way, if it was in fact an injury to the spinal cord, there really isn't anything you can do for that. : ( Except be responsible and take the animal to a vet.
Not really.
A kangaroo has 4 legs. It has two strong hind legs, and two small forelegs. Although kangaroos hop on their two rear legs, they can use all four and their tail for a slow, dragging 'walk'.
Look straight up; both of your legs are then "behind your head."
They walk on four legs.
That is completely normal :)
