To reset the Power Door: 1 Ignition OFF
2 Close door completely - by hand if necessary.
3 Doors unlocked
4 Power OFF at left overhead console above driver.
5 Pull fuse labelled "Tail" - it is the lower left hand blue 15A fuse in glove compartment
6 Wait at least 30 seconds
7 Replace fuse, wait 10 seconds
8 Power ON at overhead console
9 Activate 'door open' from either overhead console or door pillar switch
10 Wait 5 seconds
11 Repeat open/close sequence
There is nothing to reset. Just change the battery and if you have it in correctly it will work.
Try disconnecting your battery and reconnecting it this should reset the door.
