number one make sure they sold you the right idler pulleys,,next did you align the timing marks to correct specs...if everything is the right product for that car theres nothing that should go wrong...check the notchs on the belt and count the notchs on your old pulley and the new one ... i just went through the same thing with a Mercury Villager ..to many notchs on the pulley they sold me ..they said someone must of put the wrong one back in the box and returned it .AT MY EXPENSE
have your transmission checked, you need a new one.
Turn the radio on. Holding down the 'clock' button and use '' (forward) to set minute.
Answer Move forward and make friends that are worthy of your time.
should be at the right front corner of the fuel tank, just forward of the right-rear jack point.
Most likely your transmission needs replaced.
Two bolts hold the tensioner on, remove them, install belt over camshaft pulley and around the water pump. replace tensioner, you'll probably have to have someone pull forward to allign the front bolt as it has tension on it now.
You have to replaced both seat belt tensioners, anytime on most newer car the seat belt tension locks up renders the seat belt useless a safety feature, during front end crash when seat belts are used the tighten up during a crash to keep you from moving forward, after the crash the tensioner are useless and the seat belts have to be replaced.
If it has an automatic transmission, it probably needs to be replaced or rebuilt.
Just replaced the fan belt on my citroen xsara. The problem I had was increasing the tension. I eventually sorted it by Loosening bolt on tensioner with a T45 TRX key. The tensioner can now slide up/down to increase/decrease tension. When new fan belt is on correctly, to get a nice tight belt rotate large nut on tensioner with a socket. I used an adjustable pipe wrench as i did not have a socket big enough.Do not have a diagram for fan belt but will try to explain. 3 pulleys and 1 tensioner. Place belt over near side pulley and rear pulley.Next from bottom of near pulley run the belt over top of the tensioner. The belt goes around the back of the tensioner and comes forward towards you around the third pulley. That's itNow tighten her up.Hope this makes since.
does it shift into reverse and wont drive? if so its your tranny it needs to be replaced
You should have a belt path diagram, with AC or without. Move the tensioner forward and insert a steel pin or drill bit about 3/16 into the 2 holes. (14 mm) The belt goes 180 degrees over the engine pulley, 170 degrees over the next pulley, behind the compressor pulley 80 degrees, and over the alternator pulley 180 degrees. The tensioner pushes down and forward on the belt between the alternator and engine pulley. jC
