1999 rodeo 2wd it runs badly and has smoke or steam coming from exhaust it gives code of egr overflow and sensor one bank one no reading I have checked most obvious things egr pcv plugs etc ideas?

Mine did the same...it was a cracked manifold gasket..pretty common problem with these vehicles.

Why does a 2001 XLT overheat when ac is on?
I was having the same problem with my 99 explorer. What I discovered was that the overflow tank for the radiator was empty and was causing a false reading by the temp gauge.
