Have you found the answer to this problem? My Mazda Tribute 2002 does the same thing but I don't know what to do.

I had the same problem a while ago. It's the day time running light module failing. The module is located up under the dash just to the left of the steering wheel. It's a bit of a tight spot to get to but easy to change. There is one electrical connector and one bolt through a plate holding the module in place.
Could be a bad flasher

A flashing oil light can be warning you of an oil pressure problem. The quantity of oil can be fine but the oil pressure may be low due to other problems.
The light is flashing because there is a problem. The problem will need to be diagnosed and repaired to stop the flashing.
I just had the same problem and replaced the daytime running lamp module. Ford part # xl2z-15a272-ab. This part is located behind the drivers side head light and gotten to thru the wheel well.
When the hold light is flashing, it means there is a problem with the transmission system. The problem can be various things including the transmission is locked in a gear and can be caused by overheating or a speed sensor problem.
Internal problem with the transmission. Take the car to a professional ASAP. Do not keep driving the car or you may do permanent damage.
You have a problem with the memory card.
I have a yellow flashing light on whilst driving looks like two eyes (two hoops) I think it is the diesel filter. What do I do to clear it
unless I'm wrong anything blue flashing is illegal on the car especially driving, i made mine blueish white and haven't gotten a problem with them
The check engine light is flashing due to a problem with the emission system. I flashing check engine light usually indicates a random engine misfire.
Daytime running light. Usually mean the daytime running lights have a problem
