since there's no question here, im guessing you're looking for a resolution to this. if you take the interior door trim panel off down near the lower front part of the door you'll see a little black box being held on with one bolt. that's the auto controller. replaced that part. there is no fix other than replacing the controller. that is of course if the window switch itself is good.

If the question was referring to the operation of the drivers side window - then, the answer is that it should not have had any effect on the operation of that switch at all. Altho I don't like coincidences, I suppose that it is possible that the switch may just happened to fail at the same time the battery was replaced. : The AUTO function has to be reset. : 1) Start the engine.
