If the question was referring to the operation of the drivers side window - then, the answer is that it should not have had any effect on the operation of that switch at all. Altho I don't like coincidences, I suppose that it is possible that the switch may just happened to fail at the same time the battery was replaced. : The AUTO function has to be reset. : 1) Start the engine. Push down on the driver's window switch until the window is fully open. : 2) Pull back on the driver's window switch to close the window completely, then hold the switch in that position for a second or two more. : If the power windows don't reset, then have your Honda dealer check them out. : Bikerbc
There is a reset instruction in the owner manual at the end of the section on power windows. Essentially, you need to put the windows down and then move them up by partially pressing the switch without engaging the express feature. When the window reaches the top, hold the switch in position for an additional two (2) seconds and then do the same for all of the windows. Voila----the express feature will work again. The Power roof may also need to be reset after losing power because of a battery change or other maintenance where the battery needs to be disconnected.
if you installed a new motor you have to unhook the battery (about 15 to 20 min.) so the computer can pick up on the new part installed. then work the motor from drivers side.(if passenger side was installed)
By saying no engine installed, I hope you still have the battery installed, in which case you would simply turn the key (obviously you can not start the engine!). Then roll up/down the window. If there is no battery, you will have to play about with the central locking system. Open it, locate the power supply cables and apply the appropriate (usually 12 V DC) to it then you can roll up/down the window. To do this you have to be certain of the wiring, or else you could permanently or severly damage the system (electronics) or even short the battery. BE VERY CAREFUL.
Just had the same problem with 2008 C300. The window would go up by holding the button, then back down a little when I released the button. THEN I held the button in the up position for about 2-3 seconds and it re-synced the express up feature. Good luck!
You can use the Help feature, which will open a window on the right of your screen.
Shutters can be installed on brick homes, but it is more difficult than on siding or mortar. Window shutters can indeed be installed on a brick home, professional installation will be needed.
The Nissan Cube has many unique features. The most striking feature is the back window that wraps around the side. There is also the Denki version with an electric battery.
