Are all religions for the same purpose?

They don't even claim to be for the same purpose.?

Christianity is unique for example, in that it says that no one can earn the grace of God, but they must receive it by faith. Salvation and eternal life are therefore not things which can be earned by good works, but which can only be received by faith as gifts of God earned through the finished work of Christ on the Cross to atone for human sin.

Answer 2: If person want to see whole city he has to climb high place first. Instead of asking all question about religions , ask does any religion teach steeling,tell lie, hurt some one .All religions teach how to be happy and make other happy. Do not compare religions unless you have self realization. All Gods name is for our soul.

Answer 3: The scent of a rose is still as sweet regardless of the soil in which it grows. Every major world religion began in the East, in different ages, and spread primarily to only certain parts of the globe as though destined for certain peoples. Yet the scriptures of each of these major religions contains what has become known as the "Golden Rule." This includes the Vedic religions of Asia (e.g., Hinduism). So it would seem that all religions ARE for the same purpose - to bring mankind out of darkness and into the light of the knowledge of God.

Answer 4: All religions teach how to be happy in all condition. When you go in deep it will teach you the relationship between body and soul. Once you know your soul you know everything(complete knowledge).
