Could you be pregnant if you had unprotected sex and then had a very abnormal period and now you have flu-like symptoms and feel bloated and your period is 4 days late?

You are probably pregnant... Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week… of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include: * missed period * tender/swollen breasts * change in color of the breasts * fatigue * nausea/vomiting * increased sense of smell * weight gain Here is a link to a website that will calculate the probability of your pregnancy: http://www.thepregnancytest.com/ To ensure the best results when taking a pregnancy test: * Take the test in the morning, if possible, because your hCG (pregnancy hormone) levels are at it's highest * Don't drink a bunch of fluids before taking the test because it will dilute your urine and can affect the results * Take the test no more than 1 day before expected period. Although some test say that you can see results up to 5 days before your missed period, the percentage of accuracy is very low. * urinate for as long as possible on the foam-like strip * Check the results in the window frame of time suggested by the instructions of the pregnancy test.
Can you still be pregnant if your perios is 3 days late and have had 3 neg pregnancy tests but you have all of the symptoms of early pregnancy?
Pregnancy hormones are detected through blood or urine during a pregnancy. But, sometimes, even after a few days of missing a period there is not enough hormones in the system… to create a positive urine test. Wait a week or two, ir no period appears, take another test, the amount of the pregnancy hormone should be high enough and show through. Though, another thought is, pregnancy symptoms or signs are not unique to pregnancy only. Stress and sometimes to much activity can cause a late period. Tender breasts can be a sign that you will be staring your period soon. Vomiting and/or nauseous can be from food poisoning. But, it's never to early to assume one is pregnant and to take all the right steps to protect the growing embro that will later turn into a fetus at 10 weeks after the missed period.

Bloated feeling is common and occurs even during menopause. Bloating occurs due to water retention, accumulation of gas or a combination of both. Bloating during menopause may… be caused by fluctuating hormones, particularly estrogen, according to 34-menopause-symptoms.com. Prior to peri-menopause and menopause, when a woman is about to have her menstrual period, the rising estrogen levels cause females to retain more water, which leads to bloating. Bloating as a symptom can occur due to excessive swallowing of air, stress, diet, constipation, hormonal fluctuations, etc.
Certainly. You're symptoms of pregnancy include: missed period, fatigue, swollen and or tender breasts, mood swings, flu like symptoms, nausea, implantation bleeding (slightly… different than a period) etc. Not all women will experience pregnancy symptoms so if you do suspect you might be pregnant, you should take a test rather than relying solely on symptoms. It is important for you to confirm your pregnancy as soon as possible to ensure the proper care and safety of you and your new baby. Most of these symptoms will start about two weeks after the first day of your missed period.
