Incidentally, to my knowledge, the fastest production saloon in the world is the Bentley Continental Flying Spur Saloon, supplanted with an aspirated 6.75 liter Volkswagen originated W12 engine (2 little V6 engines melded together) and then supplanted with two twin bi-turbochargers, to give the standard version 550 horsepower. The new limited edition, and thus, rare 2008 Speed Edition has special modifications which yield to 600 horsepower. These cars, whether standard or Speed or the Phantom, are absurdly, yet delightfully throw the back of your head against the headrest while foot on the floor, FAST.
