A 19 year old can work in a bar and serve alcohol in some states. Nebraska, Arizona, New Mexico, Colorado and many more states allow 18 and 19 year olds to serve alcohol. Some states however, require you to be 21.
[inproved] What the hell is up with people on here, it varies from state to state since it's not regulated federally. But in Alabama the age is 21. But since it's different from state to state you can still go to school for it.

The legal age to work in Mississippi is 14. You need to have a work permit and can only work certain hours.
