No they cant unlees in films where the camra changes the effect

Answer:

Dogs can fly with you if they meet several conditions set up by the airlines. Check with your airline for specifics. Generally these are:

  • The dog should be at least eight weeks old and fully weaned.
  • The dog cannot be ill, violent, or in physical distress.
  • According to the ASPCA and many veterinarians, as well as most airlines, pets should not be sedated for air travel. If you are concerned about your pet being over anxious during travel, then please discuss this with your veterinarian. Make sure that your pets nails are trimmed to avoid snagging on the travel crates door or some other object.
  • The travel crate must meet the airlines standards and be large enough for the pet to lie down comfortably, turn around, and stand freely.
  • Mark the crate with Live Animal - This Side Up and include your name, address, and telephone number in case she gets lost or misplaced in transit.
  • Try to book a non-stop flight and take temperatures into consideration. During the summer, book to fly at night when its often cooler. Some airlines now refuse to transport at all in hot or humid conditions.

Note: Small dogs can sometimes be crated and taken on board the plane with you. Larger animals must stay in the cargo area.

Check with the airline you plan to fly on. Some allow small dogs in carriers to be held on your lap. They must remain caged. Dogs are often flown in the cargo hold of planes. The following information is from nolo.com: Not all pets can or should travel by plane. Air travel is stressful for pets, so you should consider a number of factors before deciding to transport your pet on an airplane, including your pet's disposition, age, breed and health. Heat or Pregnancy. Animals who are in heat or who are pregnant should not travel by plane. Age. Federal law requires that animals be at least eight weeks old and fully weaned (meaning weaned for at least five days) before they travel in the cargo hold of a plane. Although the law does not say so, veterinarians generally recommend against putting elderly pets through the discomfort of air travel. Breed. Pug-nosed animals should never travel in the cargo hold of a plane. This is because of the structure of their faces, which may inhibit their breathing during air travel. If your dog is of one of the breeds listed below, be sure to discuss the issue with your veterinarian and with the airline. Many airlines will not accept pug-nosed animals for air travel. The following dogs are considered to be pug-nosed: * American Staffordshire * English Toy Spaniel * Dutch Pug * Shih Tzu * Staffordshire Bull Terrier * Brussels Griffin * Pekinese * Boston Terrier * English Bulldog * Japanese Pug, and * Japanese Spaniel.

For carry on luggage, it is usually about 20 lbs and under. With Delta Airlines it is. With Delta ?Airlines, it is 200 US dollars, that is if you are flying from US to somewhere in Europe or outside of the US.

I am not sure about putting your dog in the hold of the plane, though one thing I do know, is that you can't sometimes do that in the summer due to life threatening positions for the dog due to the hot weather outside of the plane.

Yes, some pets, such as cats and dogs, may travel alone on an airplane provided that they are in a proper crate or kennel and have all the necessary papers. It may also depend on where the animal is going as some countries will not allow pets to travel by airplane.

Yes you can but I would not if I were you it would not be a fun trip for the dog. If it a big dog then it would be like a luggage and it gets out in a crate and then put in the plane where all the suit cases go. If it is a small dog you can take it on the plane with you but it would be in a crate under the seat. If you want to send a dog on a airplane all alone I don't think you can do that you would have to have someone go with it to watch it so if I had a choice I would not ship your dog by plane.

Only service dogs may accompany their owner in the passenger area of an airplane, but most airlines permit crated dogs to fly in the storage compartment of the plane.
