No. I just called and asked them because I wanted to know the same thing. And they said that unfortunitly, only Verizon wireless cell phones can be activated. Im sorry :(
of course...
No because Verizon does not have sim cards
Activating a Verizon Wireless Cell PhoneIf you already have serviceGo to VerizonWireless.com and click on My Verizon.Log in, and click "My Services" at the top.Click "My Phone" on the left.Click "Activate Phone" on the right.Depending on whether this is an upgrade or simply a phone switch, either click "Activate New Phone" or "Activate Equipment".If you do not yet have a My Verizon accountDial *228 from the phone you want to activate, and choose option 1.
Nope - once a phone's been blocked via the IMEI number - it's permanently useless !
not on Verizon it isn't. You can only use verizons exact phones bought from them on the Verizon network even if its the same exact phone. That's why they suck.
Yes you do have to get it in order to activate your phone.
If you have an old HTC phone which you bought from a friend and it was compatible with Verizon until the Altel merger, you can try contacting Verizon direct. They be able to unlock and activate it on the Verizon network for you.
Sorry, OnStar can be activated with a Verizon phone. The OnStar phone can be added to a family plan as a family phone.
yes! go to Verizon wireless's website and create your online account, then click "my cell" and activate new phone or something like that
If by unlock you mean to use it on other carriers, then they may be able to. Verizon phones run on CDMA technology, and currently there is no unlocking solution for CDMA phones. Only GSM phones are able to be unlocked.
No. The only Verizon Wireless phones that use SIM cards are Global Phones. SIM cards are only used for the GSM technology. Verizon Wireless runs off of the CDMA technology. So... if you switch the SIM card, the phone still won't work because it has nothing to do with the CDMA and that's what Verizon Wireless works off of. HOWEVER, you can activate a Verizon Wireless phone on an existing account by dialing *228 pressing SEND then choosing option 3.
No, you cannot use a Verizon prepaid sim card in a Droid Bionic Phone. You would not be able to activate it because VerizonÃ?s prepaid service does not support LTE.
