No. Unemployment benefits are provided for those who did work but, for some reason, have lost their jobs. If you are working, you are not eligible for unemployment benefits.

Can you collect unemployment if you are still living with your parents?

If you meet the qualifications for unemployment, then you can file for the unemployment benefits. These requirements do not include anything about owning a separate household from your parents. You just have to have lost your job for a reason that is not your fault and there are salary/work time requirements but they vary by state.

Can you claim unemployment benefit after you marry if your spouse is employed?

Whether or not your spouse is employed (or, indeed, whether or not you have a spouse) has no bearing on unemployment benefits in any location I'm familiar with. If you lost your job in a way that would allow you to collect unemployment, then you can collect unemployment. If you didn't, then you can't. It's pretty much that simple.

Can you collect unemployment if you work through an agency?

Yes you can, but they don't pay anyway. The only way you can collect unemployment if you had a full time position and lost it (no fault of your own). You can't collect if you decided to work through an agency. They are temp work only. There is no guarantee that they will find you work every time you finish "a job" and is on their waiting list. You have to report your wages anyway. So, probably not.

In general, the owners of a company, including an LLC, are not eligible to collect unemployment benefits. Unemployment insurance is typically available to employees who have lost their job through no fault of their own and who meet certain eligibility requirements. Since owners of a company are not considered employees, they do not usually qualify for these benefits.

If you have to move to another state because you have lost your home can you collect unemployment?

yes and no, yes if you were laid off because of a problem that the business had and no if you were fired or laid off for not working enough.Another answer:If your question is not whether or how you lost your job, but regardless of your employment situation you lost your home, the answer would be no you cannot collect unemployment because it had nothing to do with employment. Quitting reasons, otherwise, are limited in justifiable causes, so check with your state employment security office for clarification in your case.

Can you collect unemployment if you have two part times and were laid off from one?

This depends on many factors: what state you're in, what period of time is involved, how much money was earned at both jobs, how much your unemployment compensation comes to, why you lost the one job, etc.

Can you collect unemployment and welfare at the same time in California?

Yes, if you recently lost a job, and have very low income and few resources, you may qualify for both unemployment and welfare benefits. If you are approved for unemployment, welfare will count the unemployment benefits as "unearned" income, and the benefit will count against your welfare benefits. Both unemployment and welfare require you to look for work. Welfare can grant a deferral from the work requirement if you are unable to work, but the unemployment agency will deny your claim if you are unable to work. The exception to this is if you became disabled after becoming eligible for unemployment, or if you were disabled due to an illness or injury not caused by your job
