By now you have probably hacked yourself up by performing a homemade tattoo. I suggest to anyone stumbling across this question to first STOP! realize that tattooing is a SKILL. Its best to consult a professional or attain an apprenticeship before you destroy yourself. If your still intent on going through with it, yes, you may use any normal tattoo ink in a "homemade" tattoo. Its best to use Intenze or Eternal brand ink. There are many great ink brands and many artists use various brands of ink to suit their needs. Please research all sanitary safety methods and proper aftercare before you go and ram a rusty needle into your buddy's or your own forearm. And for the sake of mankind, please DO NOT SHARE THE SAME NEEDLE!!

∙ 11y agowell the way i do it is simple, get some news paper and just a normal everyday clear bottle. burn the news paper and MASH it up with a stick or pencil or something, then put the remains into the bottle, shake it so its all mashed up then add a little bit of water or if you prefer some kind of oil, i just use water. anyway mix it all up by shaking it several times, and you should be left with black ink. and don't worry i always use it for tattooing so your not going to end up getting Poisoned :)

∙ 11y agoBurn paper and put the black ash into a container an add a drop of water and shampoo and stir until its the thickness of milk if its to thick add another drop of water too thin add more ash
