Yes it can.
Illness, stress, and changes in the hormone level have a direct impact on your period.
There is nothing to worry about. You will get it in another 4 or 5 days time. Have lots of fruits (especially pineapple, papaya, grapes), yogurt and other healthy foods. These foods naturally regularise your period.

When you menstruate is determined by ovulation, if you're not healthy your body will delay ovulation in order to prevent your getting pregnant when not healthy enough to cope - thus if ill around ovulation you may see a delay in your next period.

∙ 17y agono Yes, it's highly possible because the virus will put your Ph level out as well as hormone levels off. Don't worry so much about it. Once the flu is over it may take a month or two, but you'll get back on track. Hope you feel better soon.
