Both at different times. As Islam is now the predominant religion in Egypt, they currently worship Allah. Back in ancient times the Egyptian religion was polytheistic for much of its history, but Akhenaten, Pharaoh circa 1353-1336 BCE switched Egypt into a monotheistic religion worshiping Aten, a then little known sun-god. However after his death, the practice was replaced with traditional polytheism. However, it was also not uncommon for individuals or cities to have a particular patron deity which was worshiped far more often than the other deities.
