We just went over the Christmas break and we were told that being my husband is Mexican the children didnt need to show their passports or get a temporary visa to enter Mexico. Now when coming back we showed all of our passports at the border and had no problems coming back. I do believe that all U.S. citizens now need a passport to reenter the U.S.
