It depends on what you're calling a robot.

Technically, robotic devices in use today are controlled by specialized computers which are little more than the computer on your desk at home, but they DO have a few specialized inputs and outputs, called "discrete I/O". Those I/O points allow robotic control computers to detect events and set outputs. Some of the more elaborate computer programs have shape recognition software that allows the computer to use television cameras to determine what outputs to set. The outputs cause motors, solenoids and other robotic equipment to operate.

Some of the control computers also have voice recognition software which allows the computer to recognize basic commands.

Neither voice nor optical recognition has reached the point of being terribly accurate.

The idea of a "sentient" computer is still a long way off, so any comparison between a robotic control computer and a human brain is invalid at this time.

Are robots from robotshopcom good?

It depends on what you are trying to do with robots. If you are trying to get into robotics (the subject of this category), then I would not get started with the robots or parts from the shop you mention. I would start with one of the Lego kits that include NXT brain. You can then gradually move to more complex robots. I would also look at usfirst.org to see if you can get involved there.

Will robots exist in 25 years?

Yes. Robots exist now, and there is no reason to believe that they will stop existing. If, however, you meant to ask "Will intelligent robots like those in some science fiction novels or movies, like Star Wars, exist in 25 years?", that is not known, but it seem unlikely, given the immense complexity of the human brain.
