I think it all depends on how heavy the teen is. If you are an unhealthy or overweight teen you should go on a diet. I myself lost 30 pounds when I was 12, it makes a great difference in your life, considering i was 154pounds. Being under weight is not good either. But as a teen you don't have to go crazy over your weight. Relax and enjoy life while you are young!
Some do, some don't, some have too little, some have too much. During the early teen years, most individuals find they have less body fat simply because the energy stored in their fat reserves has been pulled out to fuel the growth spurts and bodily changes of early puberty. However, in the second half of the teen years, as the growth rate drops some individuals (particularly girls) often find themselves carrying a little more body fat. This is still normal - both boys and girls are supposed to have body fat, and girls should have slightly more than boys.
Some, it depends on what you feed them or what they feed there self! if teens are worried that they are big and they aren't you need to either have a serious talk with them or if they are not eating as much a they should take them to a local GP! if they are bigger than usual and they want to loose weight go to a GP and ask what sort of diet they should go on!
At 5'7, you should most certainly be worried.
Its not what weight you SHOULD be its what weight you are. People all over the world are different weights, You shouldn't be worried about your appearance but its quite common to be paranoid.
You shouldn't be worried about weight at 13.
well it depends.what is your weight?because ur perspective may be different from other peoples/
Puppy fat is nartual and normal, therefore is nothing to be worried about or obeseing over. It will fall off when the child reaches into their teens, and having a heathly diet can help to keep it off.
No
Teens really should not engage in quick weight loss techniques. They should make lifestyle changes to incorporate moderate to vigorous activities that they find fun, and eat a healthy balanced diet high in whole grains, vegetables and lean proteins.
weight She is always worried about her weight even though she looks great.
No, you should not be worried. It is fine.
Teens
Many teens become very concerned about their weight and feel the need to start dieting. Parents should monitor their teens to make sure they are doing this in a healthy way. It is important for your teen to not restrict or limit food in a drastic way. Eating is important! Teens should focus on low fat dairy products, lean proteins, whole grains, fruits and vegetables for the majority of their meals and snacks. This will help them maintain good nutrition and achieve or maintain a healthy weight. Exercise is also an important factor. Encourage your teens to be active everyday.
