Generally speaking, if it is 8V, its belt driven, if it's 16v it's chain. Accurate replies can not be given not knowing the Engine type code.

You can find a wiring diagram for your 1.2 liter engine in most service manuals. The service manuals can be found at most local libraries.
I think this is a mechanical pump on the front of the camcover,at the top of the engine. If you have a fuel injected type then it's probably in the fuel tank,accessable through a panel under the rear seat.
