Will the Korean War restart or will the Korean peninsula reunify someday?

Korean War 2 is " WORLD WAR III". North Korea won't go down easily without pulling down China, USA, Russia, Japan, and South Korea. North Korean government is crazy but they are not stupid. So War is not option but it will be suicidal action for all countries surround Korean Peninsua including USA ( Hawaii, Alaska, Guam). Korean Unification will happen probably alot sooner then South Korean government expect. North Korean government cannot be isolate for along. It has been 60 years of North Korea isolation. North Korea people know the changing world. They simply cannot demonstrate or go against North Korean government. North Korea working class citizens are afraid " North Korean Law". Gun shot to the head. The new North Korean dictator is immature.

But you have to notice how the situation differs from East/West Germany.

1. West Germany was richer than South Korea

2. East Germany was much richer than North Korea.

3. East Germans actually had an idea of what the world was like on the other side of the wall.

4. East Germans didn't have a psychotic leader.

The simplest answer is to say that economically that south Korea can't absorb the North without severe problems.

But the real problems arise from 3 and 4. Kim Jong-il will not voluntarily allow unification to happen. Even if he disappears, the citizens of North Korea are not familiar with life in a modern capitalistic society. This will lead to situations where each will take advantage of each other. Eventually this will lead to class warfare to start with and total political anarchy eventually.

6. East Germany had a much more stable political system then SOUTH Korea.

South Korea needs a few more decades of stabilization and maturation before such a situation, if even it could be possible, could be safely achieved.

People seem to give South Koreans a lot of credit because they are successful in Industry and making a buck, but socially, I don't believe South Koreans are going to be able to be mature enough to accept the North Korean society in a selfless way.

South Koreans are taught in school that there is only onecountry called Korea, and they always hope for reunion; however, this cannot happen until the siutation in the North is resolved. North Korea has no intention of uniting with the South.

No, the South refuses to rejoin; it is run by democracy where the North is run by a form of autocratic communism, and so the governments cannot agree.

No. North Korea is filled with communists and starving people, while South Korea is fairly well off. Why the hell would South Korea want to reunite with North Korea after the huge ass war to break apart from communism? We have no ties to them, and nobody likes North Korea. And nobody likes Japan either by the way.
