Does anyone have a diagram of 98 ford ranger brake switch The switch moves around under on the brake pedal and the brake lights do not always work?

There is a plastic nut that holds the switch in place, it is about as round as a cigg lighter, the nut has probably loosened or fell off. It's really a simple fix if this if this is your problem. no but Ford has had problem with brake switches intermittenly goin out and on if you pull up on brake pedal brake lights start working then the plunger in the switch is getting stuck easy to replace just get a new one sumtimes they have and new redesigned switch for them vehicles
