I think it depends upon what it is you are advertising for, if you are offering online services then, no backpage won't work for you, you would see success much quicker if you used Fiverr or ODesk (formerly eLance). But if you are offering domestic services, cleaning, ironing, baby sitting etc, then sites like Craigslist (in your area), even social media and twitter would work if you know how to geo-target (check out my website).Even a YouTube video offering your services can work too. It really depends on what you are offering and where you are as different media work better in different places. There are offline strategies too, the most obvious being personal recommendation, try postcard size ads in your local stores and supermarkets too.
What you type in the sources and related links is a link if you have one, about the answer your posting.
All of your contributions add up.. whether that's asking or answering questions, editing (improving) answers, or posting a comment on the discussion area.
Answering my own question - just realized as posting it's High seas. Doh!
Try re-posting this question with the type of your bird and/or some detail so people have a better chance of answering correctly.
A Craigslist posting is a user-generated ad related to anything from job services to products, real estate and more. If you need anymore information on Craigslist you should check out this online training site called Grovo.
They're not necessarily prohibited as much as they're discouraged. On WikiAnswers, we discourage double posting the same question because it takes contributors away from answering other new questions. Also it slows down the site because of the time required to monitor for vandalism and inaccuracies.
No because youtube is for videos.
Wiki is for asking and answering questions. This is not a question, it is a statement, albeit a true statement. I understand why you posted it but, in the future refrain from posting statements, unless you are answering a question.
Though it was always one site, wikianswers.com is now completely under www.answers.com Yes, Answers.com is Mobile Friendly. Try posting a question or answering!
Because they can...and feel like it
