The only studies I've seen have shown that beer actually regulates cholesterol levels. A 2006 study at the University of Western Ontario showed that a couple of beers actually helps reduce LDL. Go on to the third one and more and the effect slows down and then reverses......
Yes any product with alcohol can contribute to high blood pressure and alcohol is broken down to a form of sugar in your blood that will cause high triglycerides, a component of high cholesterol.
If you are getting plenty of exercise, have a normal body weight for your height and are eating a low fat diet that is also low in processed flour and sugar, you may be able to reduce your your blood pressure and high cholesterol to the point that beer - in moderation, can be included in your diet.
I believe most doctors feel that one - 12 oz beer, up to five days per week is moderate. But again it depends on other factors and should be discussed with your doctor on an individual basis.

Of course it does...that's why you get a beer gut

There is not any cholesterol in Miller Lite or any beer for that matter.
Only if it contains red grapes.
Beer contains no cholesterol, nor will this or other alcoholic beverages affect cholesterol levels (though moderate consumption of the equivalent of 5 oz wine daily may slightly increase "good" HDL levels). The most likely side effect could simply the caloric content adding to a daily caloric intake and increasing fat stores.
One to two drinks per day of red wine, white wine, beer or distilled spirits (gin, vodka, whiskey, tequila, rum, etc.) are associated with significantly better health and longevity than is abstaining from alcohol.
Controlling cholesterol is not just about avoiding certain foods, it is about choosing healthier foods that will actually help lower cholesterol. Nuts, oatmeal, fish, and olive oil are some foods to add to your diet to improve your cholesterol number. The mayo clinic has a helpful website with more tips at http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/cholesterol/CL00002/NSECTIONGROUP=2.
Alcohol actually can lower cholesterol as alcohol can break down fats which cause cholesterol. Too much alcohol, however, can totally destroy the liver beyond repair. Countries like France who have high levels of fat in their diet but drink lots of wine have low rates of heart disease cases which is said to be due to the high level of alcohol drunk.
Plain bread has sugar, yeast, all purpose flour, salt and oil in it.No cholesterol (found in animal fat) or uric acid (found in the breaking down of liver, anchovies, mackerel, dried beans and peas, and beer) is used.
Something with no cholesterol has no cholesterol in it; something that is cholesterol free can either be free of cholesterol (and thus has no cholesterol - see above) or it has free cholesterol, in which case the level of cholesterol is indeterminate without further information.
