Answers.com has an Israel office because the company started there. WikiAnswers was purchased by Answers.com (it used to be FAQ Farm), and so it became part of the company that had an Israel office. Then, when someone else bought Answers.com, they kept the Israel office because we have a lot of great people who work there.
