Yes, you can use an application called "line2" from the app store.
It is functionally good ... but it's not true cellphone use.
However for most people its a great alternative.
You can also connect with other iPad/iPhone users via the FaceTime app that comes installed on the iPad.

∙ 11y agoyes you can but it depens if you just want calling or texting or both. if you want calling or video calling you will have to download a good app from the app store or use facetime. if you want texting you can use imeassge. imeassge is free texting but you need wi fi. if you want both do the same to both answers
