Can the custodial parent move out of state to Colorado?

Absolutely. Just notify the courts of the address change if you have a court order for sole custody and there is no visitation order for the non-custodial parent. I dont know about joint custody.

Can a parent have visitation rights if he has a felony on his record?

If this info is already known to the court that established the visitation guidelines, and/or the Dept. of Family Services (or whatever it's called in your state) there is probably no limitation. If this is new information since the visitation guidelines were originally established AND the custodial parent wishes to use this fact to limit the father's access, they will have to go to one of those two agencies and request it.

How many miles away can non custodial parent take child on visitation in state of washington?

the limit on how far you can travel with your child is determined in your custody order issued by the court. If the mom has sole custody it is determined by her because you technically have no legal right to visit with the child. If you wish to change that to joint custody you need to contact your local child support agency, an attorney, or a pro se website for your state can tell you how to accomplish this.

You live in the state of Arkansas you have full custody of your minor child can you move to another town in Arkansas with your daughter?

Yes unless your court order stipulates that you cannot move outside a certain mile limit or if you share joint custody. If it is normal custody law permitting the other parent to have visitation it should state who has to pick up and bring back. Unless for certain special circumstances you should be able to move out of state also. LOOk at your papers.

Do you have to go to lunch with your father even though theyre divorced?

It depends on the situation. If your father has visitation rights then yes, you do, unless, in some states, you reach a certain age. Once you turn that age you may have the right to decide who you want to visit or live with and if you ever want to see the other parent again. In some states, you may be able to request that the court limit a parent's visitation once you reach a set age.

if the father of children doesn't have visitation rights can his parents, the paternal grandparents, get visitation rights with the children ?

Visitation rights may also extend beyond parents. Every state has recognized grandparents' visitation rights in some form by amending visitation statutes. Several states limit visitation to cases where the parent is deceased, while others extend the right to cases of divorce, Annulment, or separation. Such laws have come under attack by parents, who argue that giving grandparents visitation rights infringes on their right to raise their children as they see fit. The U.S. Supreme Court, in Troxel v. Granville, 530 U.S. 57, 120 S.Ct. 2054, 147 L.Ed.2d 49 (2000), held that the state of Washington's grandparent visitation statute violated the due process clause of the Fourteenth Amendment, as it interfered with the rights of parents to make decisions concerning the care, custody, and control of their children. The statute permitted "any person" at "any time" to petition a state family court for visitation rights whenever "visitation may serve the best interest of the child." Most states hold that the ongoing fami

Can the father take full custody of your child in the state of Pennsylvania?

He can't take custody from you. He can petition the court for sole custody but then he must provide evidence that you are unfit and granting him full custody is in the best interest of the child. The court would appoint professionals to evaluate the situation, review all the evidence and recommendations and then render a decision. See related question link.A bit more:The non custodial parent doesn't necessarily have to prove the other parent to be "unfit", they just have to convince the court that they are the better parent. If it's a close call as to which parent would be the better parent, it's usually at the judge's discretion as to which one he awards custody. And if the parent who doesn't get custody is not willing to settle for that judge's ruling, they can appeal it with the Pennsylvania Superior Court. Just keep in mind though, there is a time limit as to how long after the original judge's ruling to file an appeal.

Does Kentucky have a state law that a parent can't move out of state if the other is paying child support?

All such laws are addressed from the perspective of the custody award, however this does not limit the use of an injunction to stop the move or require the return of the child up to 6 months after the move. If a visitation order is in place, you would still be under the requirement to make the child available at the previous address.
