Your 94 S-10 doesn't have a timing belt.
A timing light on #1 cylinder and align the timing marks on crankshaft and stationary mark on engine block
That engine has a timing chain.
0 degrees TDC.
No. It is a non-interference engine.
The 3.0 litre V6 engine in a 1994 Mercury Villager has a timing BELT
The timing chain is inside the passenger side of the engine.
I don't think the timing is adjustable on the car. I think it is controlled by the computer.
No, there will not be engine noise, but you may notice a decrease in engine performance. The 1.9 liter engine is a freewheeling engine which is not damaged by incorrect camshaft timing or even by a broken timing belt.
It's a non-interference engine meaning if the timing belt breaks, there is no engine damage.
it sounds to me that your truck jumped time which means you could have a bad timing chain it also depends on how many miles the truck has and has it ever been replaced b-4 but i would say you need to replace the timing chain.
YES they are the same, No difference whatsoever. That is a direct engine swap.
