This is hard to answer as it depends on whether you might have a specific price range in mind. Any store that specializes in outdoor pursuits will have a good range of hunting boots and you should go and visit as many as you can to see what is available and what you like within your price range.
Cowboy boots do not make noise when you are walking on loose sandy soil, which is what they are designed for.
Walking on a hard surface they will always make noise, nothing can be done about this.
Perhaps especially if the heels are feminine like those of girls' shoes, and they're not rugged like working roper boots, and she's wearing tight jeans, and they're tucked into the boots… I remember when fashionable teenage girls dressed that way. I wish they still would! They seem to have gone out of style.
Wear soe boots, Tee-shirt, blue jeans, and a hat

No, it's just laziness most of the time but some old timers 1900s guys used to do it to mean things like looking for work, have work, selling cattle, or buying cattle

All you have to do is soak them in the trough or perhaps your bathtun before you go out in the morning. You can be wearing them while they soak or not. It should not take more than just a couple minutes of soaking. Don't actually get water inside them, that will probably ruin the inside and make them uncomfortable (depending upon the boots). While they are submerged past the ankle part at least, if you are not wearing them, push outward from the inside on the places that might rub you the worst. For me it was right at the ankles. Bend them around a bit into the shape you want them. Once you have let each boot soak for just a couple of minutes put them on (unless they are already on, then just keep them on). Roll your foot around in them a while to try and streach them and mold them to your feet. Wear them around for a few hours at least. After that, you can either take them off or continue to wear them while you work.
Note: You may need to do this more than once. Just soak em a little each morning befoer you head out in them and put them on while they are still wet. If your boots are not water proof (not every western boot is water proof), you are going to have to do one of two things: deal with the water (wear thick socks), or deal with the pain of wearing boots that are not molded to your feet. You should be able to take em off and let em dry after a couple of hours anyway.
or you can walk them puddles of water
first of all you should not buy any boot that is not ALL-LEATHER. Meaning every part is leather, including insoles and shanks. Once you have bought a good boot, soak them in a tub of warm water for 30 minutes make sure the entire foot of the boot is soaked then strap on a thick pair of socks and wear them for a solid 10-12 hours. Or pour a cup of water down inside your boots strap them on and wear them until dry, and they will be perfect.
I was told that he wore Lucchese boots, exclusively. I was told this at a boot store in south Washington State and tried on a pair as a result. These are the best looking and most comfortabley pair of boots I've ever worn and I will never own any other brand. I was told that John Wayne said essentially the same thing. I can't verify that Lucchese are the "Duke's" brand, but I could certainly see why he would choose them.
ADDED NOTE by Joe Erwin (agingapes@gmail.com) It is claimed that John Wayne (also) wore Olsen-Stelzer boots, and I have a pair in size 10.5 or 11 that have "Marion Morrison," John Wayne's real name, stamped inside the shafts. I have not yet been able to authenticate that they were actually his, but it is plausible, as they are the correct size for him (even though some claims are made that he had small feet). These boots are very comfortable--every bit as much as any of my Lucchese boots (I have three pairs and all are really comfortable). Even so, my personal favorite boots are Stewart, made in Tucson. Given that "Duke" was in Tucson a lot (to make movies), I would be surprised if he did not have some Stewarts. They really are excellent boots.
Since the company was sold in 1990, some styles are no longer made in the USA: they are made either in China or in Mexico. But others are still made in El Paso, Texas; the best thing to do is check the label inside the boot to see if you are purchasing one that was outsourced or one that was made in America.
Well not sure about the brand or what it's quality could be. But it's kind of a bull riders type hat (makes sense…he used to ride bulls). It looks like it is buckskin color. To get one like his you'd have to buy a open crown & get it shaped like ryan's. His is very unique
Without question, the Carolina Shoe Company makes the unequivocal best and most comfortable work boot. The boots are designed by people in occupations that literally wear the boots. If you've ever seen a contractor, framers, people who make their living on their feet, trust me, they're wearing, Carolina Boots. Cheers! Leviosa
"When ordering your first pair of western boots, you should start with a ½ a size down from your normal shoe size. If possible, you should stop by one of our stores (Cavender's) and try on several pairs of boots to see how each brand fits. We suggest you try on boots in the afternoon when your feet are the largest, and wear socks you would normally wear with boots, lightweight - midweight socks."
a spur.
Spurs can have wheels. They are called "rowels", from Latin "rota" meaning wheel. The boot, itself, would not have a wheel installed on it.
Cowboy boots if proberly fitted can be comfortable for everyday wear. When purchasing a pair of cowboy boots make sure to measure your feet as well as the shape of your toes. If your toes have more of a boxy shape cowboy boots may not be good for everyday wear because of the pointy shape of the boots. Also you should mesasure the depth and heel height of your feet.
get a jay cloth , wet it and wipe it over un till u get the clean shoe put jay cloth in bin and dry the boots and then buy new jay cloths or get another out the pack.

Cowboy-style boots can be commonly found in shoe outlets and other Western-inspired or Western-focused brick-and-mortar retail outlets. Alternatively, online shops that carry Cowboy boots specifically such as the BootBarn work well, too. Lastly, auction sites such eBay and local sellers like Craigslist may offer a variety of styles in new and second-hand condition.
mostly look because they're flashy and can have sponsor logos on them but also because they add a extra layer of protection to the rider from the bulls horns and hooves.
