home life was a different experience depending on your social position. The housing of the working class was poor. Working class were unable to afford to buy a house, they often struggle to pay their rent. With the low income of a working class family, more children were to help out with household duties or to work outside of home to earn a wage to support the family. Buildings were usually built poorly from cheap materials, often at risks. They often did not have a sewerage or standard water supply. Houses are unhygienic; they considered a can with a seat resting on it as a toilet. Waste are to be remove by the ''night-men''.
The middle and upper class enjoyed a more comfortable life style; usually they earn a high salary. They could afford to live in large sanitary home, which have a proper sanitation and proper sewerage system.
