ANSWER:

Islam is NOT a new religion founded by Prophet Mohammed(peace be on him). Islam means submission and obedience to the creator who created us.

A person who does Islam is a Muslim, like a person who drives is a driver and a person who sings is a singer.

A person does NOT become a Muslim because of a name or because he was born in a particular geographic location or family. If a person irrespective of his name, skin color, social status etc submits and obeys the creator, he is called as a Muslim in Arabic. If you submit and obey your creator, you are called a Muslim.

All the prophets of God right from Adam,Noah,Solomon,Abraham,David,JESUS(peace be on them all) practised and preached the same way of life called Islam(Submission to the CREATOR).

The last and the FINAL Prophet and Messenger of God was Prophet Mohammed(peace be on him).

WHAT DOES THE QURAN SAY?

The message of all the prophets of God was the same. All the prophets of God taught people to worship the God who created them (complete submission and obedience to God).

"And We sent not before you any messenger except that We revealed to him that, "There is no deity except Me, so worship Me." QURAN Chapter 21: Verse 25

Prophet Mohammed (peace be on him) did not bring a new message. He too revived the same message brought by the previous prophets sent by God. Recite: "Nothing is said to you, [O MohÙ’ammad], except what was already said to the messengers before you." QURAN Chapter 41: Verse 43

He has ordained for you of the same religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you, [O MohÙ’ammad], and what We enjoined upon Abraham and Moses and Jesus. QURAN Chapter 42: Verse 13

In order to understand the answer for this question, let me ask you some other questions!

Suppose that the cars can think but they can't see people as we can't see Allah in this world. My question is; What kind of answers would the cars get for the question "What are people made of?"?

I think that their answer is: From iron, plastic, etc.

Maker never looks like what s/he has made. Similarly, since Allah has created everything, then He doesn't look like anything. Because, an engineer never looks like a building, a car, a calculator, a cell phone, a computer, or a bridge. A cooker never looks like a food in all his/her properties. An engineer is different than all what s/he has made.

We know Allah with His attributes. We never can know anything about His personality. He is above all things. Allah says that "I am different than all what comes to your mind". So we are forbidden to think about Allah's personality, because we get nothing except of some wrong ideas about Allah. And this can get us into the kufr. Allah is not matter. So the question "What is Allah made of?" is a wrong question...

All elements and substances, plants and sea life, animals and birds, mountains and deserts etc have been created by Almighty Allah. The difference between human creation and divine creation is that Almighty Allah created everything from 'Nothing', whereas humans make things from the substances already created by Almighty Allah. Almighty Allah wishes to create something, He say, "Become" and it comes into existence.

Allah created all the universe including mankind, created all what we know and what we don't. What we can see and what we can't. Allah created the soul.

Quran, Muslims holy book and real Allah words revealed to prophet Muhammad (PBUH) says:

Meaning English Translation:

{Indeed, Allah is the cleaver of grain and date seeds. He brings the living out of the dead and brings the dead out of the living. That is Allah; so how are you deluded? (95) [He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the night for rest and the sun and moon for calculation. That is the determination of the Exalted in Might, the Knowing. (96) And it is He who placed for you the stars that you may be guided by them through the darkness of the land and sea. We have detailed the signs for a people who know. (97) And it is He who produced you from one soul and [gave you] a place of dwelling and of storage. We have detailed the signs for a people who understand. (98) And it is He who sends down rain from the sky, and We produce thereby the growth of all things. We produce from it greenery from which We produce grains arranged in layers. And from the palm trees - of its emerging fruit are clusters hanging low. And [We produce] gardens of grapevines and olives and pomegranates, similar yet varied. Look at [each of] its fruit when it yields and [at] its ripening. Indeed in that are signs for a people who believe. (99)But they have attributed to Allah partners - the jinn, while He has created them - and have fabricated for Him sons and daughters. Exalted is He and high above what they describe (100) [He is] Originator of the heavens and the earth. How could He have a son when He does not have a companion and He created all things? And He is, of all things, Knowing. (101)} [Quran, chapter 6, verses 95-101]

Quran says also:

Meaning English translation:

{It is He (Allah) who created the heavens and earth in six days and then established Himself above the Throne. He knows what penetrates into the earth and what emerges from it and what descends from the heaven and what ascends therein; and He (Allah) is with you wherever you are. And Allah, of what you do, is Seeing. (4)}

Allah is an Arabic word that means God, the Creator, the one and only one God with no father, no son, no partner, no companion, and no associate. Allah is the Creator, Non Made Allah but Allah made all what we know and what we don't.

Quran, Muslims holy book, says:

قُلْ هُوَ اللَّـهُ أَحَدٌ ﴿١﴾ اللَّـهُ الصَّمَدُ ﴿٢﴾ لَمْ يَلِدْ وَلَمْ يُولَدْ ﴿٣﴾ وَلَمْ يَكُن لَّهُ كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ ﴿٤﴾}

Meaning English translation:

{Say: He, Allah, is One. (1) Allah is He on Whom all depend. (2) He begets not, nor is He begotten. (3) And none is like Him. (4)}

The sufi might say that Allah simply "let it slip from His hand" and leave it at that. Anything else is speculation, and it distracts the believer from the core issues of faith.
