I don't thik it's legal to have a "regular" job until you are 16 in any state. But you can babysit or mow or rake lawns. Or pull weeds, something like that. Ask your neighbors if they have any extra yard or house work that you could do for some extra money. Some people will give you a flat amount of money and others will give you a certain amount depending on the job. And others might want to settle on an hourly rate. It all depends. You can also talk to your parents about getting an allowance for doing extra chores around the house.

In most states, once you are 14, you can work 7am to 7pm jobs or part time jobs. However, some jobs are not appropriate for teenagers. Obviously you prefer not to work the typical teen job at McDonald's, or "fake" jobs like mowing lawns and babysitting, but I recommend a service job. I would define "service" as anything where you interact with the patrons of your employer's business as part of your job. It sounds a mouthful, but what it really means is something like managing the register at a Dunkin Donut's or a Starbucks. Other jobs might include bagging groceries, or managing product returns, or simply cashier work.
