There are many factors that would play into determining a price for the machine. How "old" are we talking? early nineteen hundreds treadle? or early 1990's domestic? What kind of condition is it in; has it developed rust and a worn finish from sitting out in a garage. Does the machine still work and are all original parts still in tact? Does it have a wooden cabinet? A working 1949 model in excellent condition is listed on eBay for $1599.99 just for an idea.
Model AHC and Serial #955902-F I just acquired it and don't even know if it works or not as it does not have a power cord. The body looks great but it doesn't have a bobbin in it either. It does not have a power cord, but it has 3 pk. of needles #5 True Pierce Point # 40FI. With all kinds of bobbins with it.
Vintage sewing machines are valued much like vintage automobiles. Just saying you have an old sewing machine is not enough to establish the value. Several other factors must be considered:

Speaking of Ebay, that is probably the best place to research prices for old sewing machines. Look for machines of the same model and age, in the same condition. Note the accessories that come with it and see how closely your item matches the Ebay item.

Scotland.
A sewing machine that's what. I had a Singer Starlet that was the same basic machine as the Singer Genie. A light portable machine produced in the very early 1970's. If you do a search on Singer Genie either on Google or eBay, you should find a photo of it. The starlet was made in France and I have no idea why it had a different name.
The Singer website has resources for looking up serial numbers of Singer machines. The machine you reference is a Singer model 66, manufactured between July and October 1926.

The price of your White Sewing Machine Corporation's White Rotary 77 Series machine depends a lot on it's condition. If you check e-bay it may give you a start as to the going rate for those sewing machines. However, you may want to try to find a sewing machine store in your area or call around to the local antique shops and ask if they know about 'antique' sewing machines or if they know of someone/someplace that specializes in them, like a collector/appraiser, so that you can get a proper appraisal/value for your machine. You may even want to try any of the more prominent auction houses in your area as they generally have people on hand that specialize in different types of antiques/collectables.
