How can you tell if a guy likes you?

There's only one way to know for sure if a guy likes you, and that is to ask. Yeup, it's much easier said than done, but you have to do it. Either that or drop major hints. Don't have your friends ask him for you, because that shows a lack of confidence and is quite unattractive. Also, don't ask him through text messaging, instant messenger, etc. Because this is quite immature, and if you think you're mature enough to be in a relationship, then you've gotta do it face to face. Basing a relationship on text messages and IM conversations is really not a good way to get to know a person. Plus, a relationship involves things called "DATES" where you get to know the person before you're officially "Going out" or "Exclusive" Here's my advice for your situation. Suggest that you guys go to a movie together or hang out at the mall. Just you two. No friends. Just get him alone. If the guy is interested, he'll show you that he likes you. If he doesn't show you that he likes you, then you deserve someone who actually has guts. (hence, if he doesn't man up and admit that he likes you, drop him like it's hot) Oh, and I'm a high school student writing this, and obviously I don't know you're age. If a guy likes you he will stare at you alot. If you look at him and it looks like he turned his head, then he was probably staring at you and he likes you.

Some guy's don't like you they just want to get in your pants because your hot or because it's a bet, sometimes guy's like you because they have known you a while and they really like you because they think your funny.

He will look at you always and look away when you notice it. He will look at you before any one in a crowd. He will act like if he is inferior or should I say, act clumsily. He won't mind if you sit very close to him (or even better on top of him) He will try to steal your attention by being funny and repeating things he noticed you find funny. Will try to make little jokes out of you (or your best friends if he is close to them), don't worry he is not flirting with them, he is just trying to earn their friendship to score more points with you (note this hint only works if he follows some of the others, if not, then he is flirting with your friends for real). He will not loose any chance he has to touch you or be next to you. He will somtimes ignore you for a short time for you to notice him. He will behave strangley and act serious and mature when you are serious, and be infantile when you are being infantile. Respond your messages shyly. Sometimes play hard to get and stubborn, but most of the time he will be on your side. If you are close enough to him as a friend to ask him who he likes he will become red and won't answer or tell a lie. Prefers to be with you than with his best male friends. Extremely jealous of other guys that talk to you if they are the same age as him. Will be extremely polite to you and respectful too If someone says out loud "x" loves "y"!! He will try to act as if he isn't blushed and lay low for a couple of days at maximum. Give you a gift if you give him a gift.

A:He'll want some form of physical contact. He'll rub your arm if there's a mark or play with your fingers (in which case don't resist him from moving to your palm) and all this other stuff. Ok, I was looking up the answer to this question, and after reading through this page, I realised that the above post was mine. Although I wrote it a long time ago, it holds true. Follow your instincts, but don't trick yourself with too much false hope.

A:That's a very good point but in my experience (which is none) guys tend to b really shy around you and here's a quick tip, wait until he is surrounded by guy's then walk past them really close and if his friends whistle and nudge him he likes you!

If he's shy but attracted, he'll keep looking over at you, you just have to wait and see if he does it. A man's eyes can say a a lot about what he's feeling. You should feel a brightness or alertness in his eyes when you look at him, and when you speak he's always paying attention.
