Masters treated their slaves really horrible and they would do it because they THOUGHT they could. The owners would whip the slaves for no apparent reason, and if a slave was taught to read or write a slave owner would cut off his\her toes, then fingers, then any other body parts the 'master' thought the slaves didn't need.
A slave master was a person who owned slaves. They controlled their slaves live's, and would often mistreat them by beating the slave up for NO reason or if they take a 3 second break. They would leave the useless one sometimes hanging by their neck and beat them and the slaves would be bleeding so hard and the slaves die.
Overseers on slave plantations were under enormous stress from the owners of the plantations to turn out big profits, so all overseers did this by beating and bullying the slaves into submission. They would spit on slaves, whip them and rape them. Overseers were rarely nice people
Slave masters needed to catch more slaves to make more money. They sold slaves for money. Their wealth was decided by the number and quality of slaves they had in stock. Sometimes, if they had farms, the more slaves that worked on the farms, the better.
They would get beat bloody.
well first of all they d'ont have proper rights (well the servants do but the slaves d'ont) and there masters d'ont treat them the way they should. And slaves that used too work on plantations in there masters house are just like servants because they do anything there masters want. Hope this helps!!!!
Depends on where they were employed. Household slaves worked until their masters went to bed. Slaves in the fields did sunup to sundown. Slaves in the mines worked until they died.
Slaves did anything their masters wanted them to do from giving them a foot rub to going to plow the fields. Anything the slave master wanted.
Because, they were property to their slave masters, and the slave masters could do anything that they wanted to the slaves in order for the slaves to keep their lives.
slave masters wanted to erase the slaves' cultural identity.

You can guarantee that
slave trade was when the masters that owned the slaves would sale them and other masters would buy them.

very mean and disrespectful and TERRIFYING

Masters were not kind to their slaves due to a belief in the superiority of their own race, a desire to maintain control and power over others, and economic interests that benefited from the labor of enslaved individuals. This unjust and oppressive system allowed masters to exploit and mistreat their slaves without consequence.
horribly.....
