The gods and goddesses were all somehow related to Zeus
Possibly, but not probably. But if your lucky to see statues of the gods and goddesses naked, lick them if your tongue has a disease. It happened to me once, and i did that. Everyone looked at me gross-like, but I healed right there on the spot and they did it too. Don't you think it is fascinating?
There are a great many minor (and major) gods and goddesses in Greek mythology that were not part of the main group of twelve. Here are a few examples, but see the 'related links' for more.Hestia (she was originally part of the twelve Olympians, until she gave up her spot for Dionysus)Eros (Aphrodite's son)Iris (goddess of the rainbow)Persephone (the wife of Hades and the daughter of Demeter; goddess of springtime/plants)Pan (god of shepherds)
She gave up her throne on Olympus to avoid argument or a civil war.
12 gods and goddesses generally refers to the Olympians: Zeus Hera Poseidon Athena Aphrodite Apollo Dionysus Ares Demeter Hephastis Artemis Hermes
A lot of times the greek gods weren't friends because they often acted like children.(No offence greek gods and children!) Take Ares, Aphrodite, and Hepheastus, for example: Ares loved Aphrodite, but Aphrodite was married to Hepheastus, but still visited (Basically dated) Ares. Then one day Hepgeastus saw/heard about this and made a tpap. (he was the god of blacksmiths and crafting) He built a golden net with magical powers to hold the most powerful of creatures, and threw it on the love couple when they were at their favorite spot, then he invited the other gods to laugh at them, which they were so very happy to do. Now, do you see what I mean?
He resented most other Greek gods, Hades doesn't even have a spot on Olympus, which leads me to believe that they kicked him out of Olympus.
There are 12 main gods and goddesses in Greek Mythology: Apollo, Ares, Dionysus, Hephaestus, Hermes, Poseidon, Zeus, Aphrodite, Artemis, Athena, Demeter, Hera. Hades and Hestia are also sometimes considered main gods, but Hades preferred to stay in the Underworld, and Hestia gave up her spot on Olympus so that Dionysus could take her place.
the word came from the place "mount Olympus" in Greece, a mountain. It is where they believed the god Zeus lived and the first olympic games were held there Hope this helped u guyzzz ;)
Olympus Mons is a shield volcano, similar to the ones that formed the islands of Hawaii, only much larger. It formed over many millions if not billions of years as lava flows piled up on one another and cooled. Because Mars lacks plate tectonics, Olympus Mons probably formed over a hot spot.

There was much more than 12, but there WAS 12 main ones that sat in Olympus. It was the major gods and goddesses. There was 6 girls and 6 boys origianally. Zues (king of the gods and master of lightning), Posiedon (God of the sea), Ares (God of war), Hermes (god of travellers and messaging), Apollo (god of prophecy and music and healing), Hephateous (God of fire and building) , Athena (goddess of wisdome and war strategy), Aphrodite (Goddess of buety), Artemis (goddess of the hunt, wild things, and maidens), Demeter (goddess of the harvest), Hera (Queen of the gods and goddess of marraige), and Hestia (goddess of the hearth) . but Hestia gave up her spot for Dionysus (god of wine and madness) which threw off the balance.
Mount Fuji is not associated with a hot spot. It is associated with a subduction zone.

Well, she is the first child of Cronus; elder sister to Demeter, Hera, Hades, Poseidon, and Zeus. She is the goddess of the hearth and protects children who are lost. She was originally an olympian but Dionysus (or Aphrodite) needed a spot with the gods and she gave up her spot to avoid conflict. She still tends the fire on Olympus.
Yes, Kilauea is associated with a hot spot.
Among others, there is Mount Waiʻaleʻale, which is sometimes the wettest spot on earth.
No. Mount Pelee is associated with a convergent plate boundary.
