Hard for home mechanic to do. You can mess up your timing just changing it. Best for this vehicle to go to the shop.
Talked to 2 mechanics that I trust about doing it myself and both said, knowing my abilities to fix cars, that I'd best leave it to them.
Just got my girlfriends water pump on her '94 Sunbird LE 2 liter replaced and after all the research I did I'm glad I didn't do it.
