on a v6 engine you will need to remove the rad shroud to make room. its been a while, i believe its your top rad hose, you need to follow it to the front of the engine. the bolts for the themostat housing are hard to see because they are tucked up under the front engine cover. you will need to drain your antifreeze out and remove the housing bolts. the thermostat will come out pretty easy . install new one and reverse the steps. it may take longer than it did for me to write this.....lol
The thermostat on my 95 pathfinder v6 is located in the thermostat housing on the front of the engine. The lower radiator hose connects to the housing. .

follow the hose from radiator to engine where it conects to engine take out the part where the hose conects to then u will see the thermostat ther with a round gasket make sure engine is cold n first drain the radiator fluid before taking anything apart.
